Ken Schultz, CPA
Ken has been a Certified Public Accountant in excess of 35 years, and has been SWR’s Managing Partner since 1998. Ken’s experience includes 42 years in public accounting as well as 3 years in private industry, giving him a unique perspective of the challenges facing businesses today.
Ken received his B.A. in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa in 1979. His career includes working for various large CPA Firms and private industry in Dubuque, IA (1979-1981), Oklahoma City, OK (1981-1984), and Kansas City, MO (1984-1990), before joining SWR in Springfield in 1990.
Ken and his wife Susan are very proud of their four children and seven grandchildren. Ken enjoys golfing, water sports, and family-related activities. He is an active Rotarian and member of Holy Trinity Parish in Springfield. Ken enjoys following Missouri collegiate and professional sports, and is a loyal Northern Iowa Panther fan.
Bill Wood, CPA (retired)
Bill has been a Certified Public Accountant for 40 years, and has been SWR’s West Plains Office Manager/Partner from 2003 till his retirement in 2019. Bill’s experience includes 27 years in public accounting as well as 13 years in private industry in senior finance and accounting positions, giving him a unique perspective of the challenges facing businesses today. Bill has advised large international companies as well as small-to-medium sized companies and individuals
Bill received his B.A. in Accounting from the University of Iowa in 1973. His career includes working for various large CPA Firms and private industry in Cedar Rapids and Dubuque, IA (1973-1981), Tulsa, OK (1981-2000), and Purcell, OK (2000-2003), before joining SWR in Springfield in 2003.
Bill and his wife Nancy are very proud of their two children and four grandchildren. Bill enjoys golfing, water sports, auto shows, and family-related activities. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Ozark Medical Center in West Plains and he is an active Rotarian. Bill enjoys following collegiate sports, and is a loyal Iowa Hawkeye and Oklahoma Sooner fan.
Connie Rapp, CPA
Connie has been a Certified Public Accountant in excess of 20 years, and is SWR’s Springfield Office Manager/Partner since 1998. Connie’s experience includes 32 years in public accounting, giving her a unique perspective of the challenges facing businesses today.
Connie received her B.A. in Accounting and MBA from the Missouri State University in 1992. Her professional career includes working for the Firm as a staff professional and partner.
Connie and her husband Jody are very proud of their two children. Connie enjoys family traveling and camping, water sports, bike riding, and family-related activities. She is an active volunteer in her children’s school activities.
Nicholas Schultz, CPA
Nicholas has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2014, and is SWR’s West Plains Office Manager since summer 2019. Nicholas specializes in Farms, Small Businesses, Corporate, Trust and Partnership Taxation, and Tax Planning. Nicholas also specializes in School District, Governmental, and Non Profit Audits.
Nicholas joined SWR in 2011 as an audit intern at the Springfield office while attending college at the University of Central Missouri where he received B.S.B.A. in Accounting in 2012 and joined the West Plains office in May of 2012. Nicholas became a Shareholder in 2019.
Nicholas and his wife Ashley are very proud of their two children. Nicholas enjoys camping with his family, woodworking in his shop, and his Green Bay Packers.
